Gender Responsive Resilience and Intersectionality in Policy and Practice (GRRIPP) South Asia is going to organize a Webinar to observe the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) 2023. The Webinar will be held on October 12, 2023 (3.30 pm to 5.00 pm Bangladesh Time) on the theme of IDDRR, 2023: “Fighting Inequality for a Resilient Future”. The aim of the event is to explore diverse reflections of eminent speakers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka for putting equity before equality for ensuring gender responsive and intersectional policy and practice. Each of the panellists will speak about how to tackle one angle of the ‘fight’ from an intersectional and gender responsive lens from their respective positions.
