The All India Disaster Mitigation Institute (AIDMI), in collaboration with the Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN), launches the Ahmedabad Case Station for Avoidable Deaths (ACaSA) on March 17 and 18, 2025, at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The ACaSA is an initiative developed under the ADN with the primary goal of reducing avoidable disaster deaths. By creating a community-based learning laboratory, ACaSA seeks to empower vulnerable populations and responders with the knowledge and capacity to prevent unnecessary fatalities caused by disasters. The AIDMI is committed to reducing the impact of extreme heat, particularly on vulnerable communities. AIDMI collaborates with ADN on a case-to-case basis.

અમદાવાદ કેસ સ્ટેશન ફોર અવોઇડેબલ ડેથ્સ (ACaSA) એ અવોઇડેબલ ડેથ્સ નેટવર્ક (ADN) હેઠળ વિકસાવવામાં આવેલી એક પહેલ છે જેનો મુખ્ય હેતુ આપત્તિથી થતા મૃત્યુ ઘટાડવાનો છે. સમુદાય-આધારિત શિક્ષણ પ્રયોગશાળા બનાવીને, ACaSA સંવેદનશીલ લોકો અને પ્રતિભાવ આપનારાઓને આપત્તિઓને કારણે થતી બિનજરૂરી જાનહાનિ અટકાવવા માટે જ્ઞાન અને ક્ષમતા સાથે સશક્ત બનાવવાનો પ્રયાસ કરે છે. ઓલ ઇન્ડિયા ડિઝાસ્ટર મિટિગેશન ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ (AIDMI) અતિશય ગરમીની અસર ઘટાડવા માટે પ્રતિબદ્ધ છે, ખાસ કરીને સંવેદનશીલ સમુદાયો પર. AIDMI કેસ-ટુ-કેસ આધારે ADN સાથે સહયોગ કરે છે.
