On April 24, 2023 the AIDMI and ALNAP held a joint event to share the global findings of the SOHS 2022 with the humanitarian community in Delhi and to discuss them in relation to the Indian context. In the afternoon, WFP India presented a new report co-created with AIDMI and Sphere India focussed on Strengthening the Humanitarian System in India. The 2022 SOSH report, published by ALNAP, focuses on the period from January 2018 to December 2021 and assesses the size, shape, and performance of the international humanitarian system against key criteria over time. It includes a focus on a variety of themes, including asking if the system is effective, if it causes harm, if it treats crisis-affected people with dignity, and if it is becoming more locally-led.
