AIDMI is organising the Virtual Roundtable on ‘Extreme Heat Adaptation and Mitigation Programming: Lessons from the Affected Population’, on Friday, August 16, 2024, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm IST. This discussion is guided by the special issue of Southasiadisasters.net produced by many of the panel members which aims to explore urgent and local ways to take cooling actions to adapt to extreme heat impact on the most vulnerable population in South Asia. The roundtable will offer emerging extreme heat context, a range of cooling activities for adaptation, and what we have learned from the summer of 2024 to cool better and faster.
